Custer Observatory and Museum is located under the dark skies of Southold, Long Island, NY.
As I currently live in Dover, Delaware, it's much too far of a drive to Long Islands Eastern shore. So I do my observing with the help of the DelMarVa Stargazers. Meetings and observing sessions are always open to the public. They meet in Smyrna, just a few miles North of Dover. You can also visit the Central Maryland Area Amateur Astronomy Page. As well as the Parsonsburg Observatory, just East Of Salisbury, Maryland.

Made an astronomical discovery?
Report it to The
Central Bureau for Astronomical Telegrams (CBAT).
The CBAT is responsible for the dissemination of information on transient astronomical events, via the IAU Circulars (IAUCs), a series of postcard-sized
announcements issued at irregular intervals as necessary in both printed and electronic form.
