Comet 55P/Tempel-Tuttle, the parent of the Leonid meteor stream, was visible in the northern circumpolar sky for midnorthern latitudes in January, 1998. We anticipate a "meteor storm" this November 17-18, as the comet has left behind fresh dust in the inner solar system.
